(hereinafter the “provider”)

2. Subject of these terms

These terms and conditions govern the rights and obligations between the provider and the customer in the provision of passenger transport — in particular private journeys and airport transfers — ordered through the solid-transfers.com and solidtransfers.cz websites, by phone or by e-mail. The contract of carriage is governed by Section 2550 et seq. of the Czech Civil Code.

3. Scope of services

  1. The provider is based in Prague. Transport is provided throughout the Czech Republic and abroad — across Europe.
  2. For journeys leaving the territory of the Czech Republic, carriage is conditional upon payment of the agreed price in advance, no later than 24 hours before the agreed pick-up time, unless agreed otherwise (e.g. for corporate customers under a framework agreement).
  3. If payment under paragraph 2 is not credited in time, the order is treated as cancelled by the customer and the cancellation terms under Article 8 apply.
  4. For journeys starting outside Prague, a vehicle positioning fee may be added to the price; its amount will be stated in the quotation before the order is confirmed.

4. Orders and conclusion of the contract

  1. An order may be placed using the booking form on the website, by phone or by e-mail.
  2. The order must contain: the place and time of pick-up, the destination, the number of passengers and a contact phone number; for airport transfers also the flight number.
  3. The contract is concluded at the moment the provider expressly confirms the order (by e-mail, SMS or phone). Until confirmed, the order is not binding.
  4. The provider reserves the right to refuse an order, in particular for capacity reasons.

5. Price and payment

  1. The price of transport is agreed in advance — according to the price list on the website or an individual quotation — and is final; it includes fuel, motorway tolls within the Czech Republic and standard luggage.
  2. The price does not include: waiting beyond the agreed time (see Article 7), motorway tolls outside the Czech Republic, and parking fees requested by the customer.
  3. Payment can be made in cash to the driver, by payment card, by bank transfer, or — for corporate customers — by transfer against an invoice payable within 7 to 14 days as stated on the invoice.
  4. For selected journeys (e.g. long routes, night transfers) the provider may require a deposit; its amount and due date will be stated in the order confirmation.

6. Airport transfers — special provisions

  1. For airport pick-ups the provider monitors the flight status; the agreed pick-up time is automatically adjusted according to the actual arrival.
  2. Airport pick-ups include 30 minutes of waiting from the moment the aircraft lands, 60 minutes for flights from outside the Schengen area (Terminal 1 in Prague). Longer waiting is charged under Article 7.
  3. By default the driver waits in the car park in front of the terminal; the exact meeting point is agreed in advance. A meet-and-greet pick-up in the arrivals hall with a name sign is available for a surcharge, the amount of which we state in the order confirmation.

7. Waiting and route changes

  1. Outside airports, the price includes 15 minutes of waiting from the agreed pick-up time.
  2. Waiting beyond the agreed time is charged as follows:
    1. for journeys within Prague and its surroundings, i.e. up to 30 km from the centre of Prague, at a rate of CZK 100 for each commenced 10 minutes;
    2. for long-distance journeys, in particular journeys outside Prague and journeys abroad, at a rate agreed in advance according to the expected length of waiting — approximately CZK 300 per hour. The agreed rate is stated by the provider in the order confirmation.
  3. A change of route or an additional stop requested by the customer during the journey will be charged according to the price list, with the customer’s prior consent.

8. Cancellation terms

  1. The customer may cancel the transport free of charge no later than 24 hours before the agreed pick-up time.
  2. For cancellation less than 24 hours in advance, the cancellation fee is 50 % of the agreed price.
  3. For cancellation less than 3 hours in advance, or if the customer fails to appear without notice (no-show), the cancellation fee is 100 % of the price.
  4. Cancellation by the provider: if the provider is unable to carry out the transport, it will inform the customer without delay and refund all payments received; where circumstances allow, it will offer an alternative solution.

9. Withdrawal from the contract by a consumer

The customer acting as a consumer acknowledges that under Section 1837(j) of the Czech Civil Code it is not possible to withdraw from a contract for the transport of persons within 14 days without giving a reason where the transport is arranged for a specific date. Cancellation of an order is governed by the cancellation terms under Article 8.

10. Rights and obligations of the parties

The provider undertakes to

The customer undertakes to

The driver is entitled to refuse to transport a person who is clearly heavily under the influence of alcohol or narcotics, or a person behaving aggressively; in such a case the journey is treated as a no-show under Article 8(3).

11. Liability for delay

  1. The provider is not liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond its control (traffic conditions, weather, road closures, intervention by authorities).
  2. The customer acknowledges that the provider does not guarantee catching a departing flight or a connecting service; the provider will advise the recommended time buffer when confirming the order.
  3. Luggage is carried in the luggage compartment; the provider is not liable for valuables left in the vehicle unless they were handed over to the driver for safekeeping.

12. Complaints

Defects in the service provided may be claimed without undue delay, no later than within 6 months, at info@solidtransfers.cz. The provider will handle the complaint within 30 days.

13. Out-of-court dispute resolution

The authority competent for the out-of-court resolution of consumer disputes is the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (Česká obchodní inspekce), Štěpánská 796/44, 110 00 Prague 1, www.coi.cz. Consumers may also use the online dispute resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

14. Personal data protection

The processing of personal data is governed by the Privacy Policy.

15. Final provisions

  1. Legal relations not governed by these terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic.
  2. The provider is entitled to amend these terms; the wording in effect at the moment the order is confirmed applies to that order.
  3. These terms are effective from 18 October 2026.
