The Krkonoše mountains, the Czech Republic's main ski area, are under two hours' drive from Prague. If you fly in, the alternative is public transport across Prague and then a long coach ride with skis and suitcases. We meet you in the arrivals hall, or at your hotel in Prague, and drop you at your accommodation.
Where we go
Špindlerův Mlýn: about 160 km and two hours from the airport, 5 780 CZK in an E-Class, 7 281 CZK in a V-Class
Pec pod Sněžkou: about 195 km, just over two hours, 6 830 CZK in an E-Class, 8 611 CZK in a V-Class
Harrachov: about 145 km, just under two hours, 5 300 CZK in an E-Class, 6 671 CZK in a V-Class
Prices are per car and one way, VAT included. From central Prague they are a little lower, because the airport is on the far side of the city. The calculator works out the price for your address. We drive to other mountain areas too, such as the Jizera Mountains, Šumava or the Ore Mountains.
Skis, luggage and children
The Mercedes E-Class is an estate and takes skis, but with three people, big suitcases and skis it is full. For a family or a group with all their gear the V-Class, which seats up to seven, is the better choice. Tell us in your booking how many skis, snowboards and suitcases you have, and we will confirm which car is coming. Child seats are free.
Winter roads
In winter we drive on winter tyres and allow extra time for the weather. When snow is forecast we set off earlier so you do not miss your apartment check-in. We track your flight, so if it is late the driver waits at the airport at no extra cost.
Going home
Book the return journey together with the outward one, so the date is secured. It is a separate journey at the same price, because the driver goes back to Prague in the meantime and comes out for you again.
When to book
The busiest times are Christmas, New Year and the February half-term holidays. We have two cars, so for those dates please book well ahead.
