Private transfer Prague to Paris
Solid Transfers — solid-transfers.com

We drive both ways: Prague → Paris and back. Nine hours through Germany — the longest of our regular routes, usually with an overnight stop or two drivers.
The route in numbers
Distance — approximately 1,035 km by road
Driving time — approximately 9 hours of driving without stops
Vehicles — Mercedes-Benz E-Class estate (1–3 passengers) or V-Class (up to 7 passengers)
Why by car
Over this distance flying is faster, and we will not pretend otherwise. The car makes sense when you carry a lot of luggage, travel as a group, do not want to change planes with children, or need the car at your destination as well.
The route
Along the D5 via Pilsen and Nuremberg to the German A6, on via Saarbrücken, then along the French A4. The whole route is motorway.
And the same in reverse
We drive Paris → Prague just as often as the other way round. Both legs can be booked together, and in between the driver either waits or drives back — whichever works out cheaper.
Tolls and charges
Germany does not charge motorway tolls for cars, France does — you pay at the toll gates. Tolls outside the Czech Republic are billed separately according to our price list and stated in the booking confirmation. For journeys leaving the Czech Republic, payment of the agreed price in advance is a condition, at the latest 24 hours before pick-up.
What it costs
The price follows our price list, is calculated from the actual road distance and is agreed in advance as a fixed sum — there is no meter. It includes fuel, motorway tolls in the Czech Republic and standard luggage.
Mercedes-Benz E-Class estate — base fare 800 CZK incl. VAT including the first 20 km, 36 CZK per km up to 150 km and 30 CZK per km beyond
Mercedes-Benz V-Class — base fare 921 CZK incl. VAT including the first 20 km, 46 CZK per km up to 150 km and 38 CZK per km beyond
From our price list this route works out at 32 030 CZK incl. VAT in the E-Class estate, 40 531 CZK incl. VAT in the V-Class — one way. The empty return leg is not charged.
The exact amount for your particular pick-up address is worked out by the calculator on the home page, which also allows for current traffic. The full price list is on the Price list page.
Day trip: back the same day
For journeys outside the Czech Republic the return leg is 50 % of the outbound fare, provided you return the same day and the driver waits no more than six hours — on a long-distance run he drives back empty anyway. For longer waiting or a return on another day, the agreed waiting rate applies; we settle it in advance and state it in the booking confirmation. The calculator gives you the price.
Worth seeing in Paris
The Eiffel Tower was meant to come down after twenty years, and many Parisians hated it; Maupassant is said to have lunched in its restaurant because it was the only place in Paris from which he could not see it. Radio saved it. The Louvre holds hundreds of thousands of objects — at ten seconds each you would need more than a month without sleep. Notre-Dame reopened at the end of 2024 after the 2019 fire. Montmartre was once a wine-growing village outside the city walls, beyond the reach of the city's duties on wine — hence all the taverns, and the painters who settled there. One vineyard on the slope survives to this day. One practical point: Paris has a low-emission zone and older vehicles may not enter — our cars meet the requirements, but with a car of your own it is worth checking in advance.
