Private transfer Prague to Berlin
Solid Transfers — solid-transfers.com

We drive both ways: Prague → Berlin and Berlin → Prague. The whole way to Berlin is motorway — via Dresden and on along the A13. We pick you up at your Prague address and set you down at your Berlin one.
The route in numbers
Distance — approximately 350 km by road
Driving time — about 3 hours 45 minutes of driving, without stops
Cars — Mercedes-Benz E-Class estate (1–3 passengers) or V-Class (up to 7 passengers)
Why by car
The direct train takes about four hours and runs a few times a day; miss it and you wait. A car leaves when your schedule says so, not when the timetable does, and you handle your luggage exactly once — when it is loaded.
A stop in Dresden
The route passes right by Dresden, so the journey can be combined with a few hours in the city — useful when travelling with children or when the trip fills a whole day anyway. Just mention it when booking so we allow for it in the timing and the price.
And the same in reverse
We equally drive Berlin to Prague — from an address, a hotel or Berlin Brandenburg airport. A return trip needs only one booking.
Tolls and charges
Germany charges no motorway toll for passenger cars, so nothing is added on this route. For journeys leaving the Czech Republic, payment of the agreed price in advance is a condition of carriage, at the latest 24 hours before pick-up.
What it costs
The price follows our price list, is calculated from the actual road distance and is agreed in advance as a fixed sum — there is no meter. It includes fuel, motorway tolls in the Czech Republic and standard luggage.
Mercedes-Benz E-Class estate — base fare 800 CZK incl. VAT including the first 20 km, 36 CZK per km up to 150 km and 30 CZK per km beyond
Mercedes-Benz V-Class — base fare 921 CZK incl. VAT including the first 20 km, 46 CZK per km up to 150 km and 38 CZK per km beyond
From our price list this route works out at 11 480 CZK incl. VAT in the E-Class estate, 14 501 CZK incl. VAT in the V-Class — one way. The empty return leg is not charged.
The exact amount for your particular pick-up address is worked out by the calculator on the home page, which also allows for current traffic. The full price list is on the Price list page.
Day trip: back the same day
For journeys outside the Czech Republic the return leg is 50 % of the outbound fare, provided you return the same day and the driver waits no more than six hours — on a long-distance run he drives back empty anyway. For longer waiting or a return on another day, the agreed waiting rate applies; we settle it in advance and state it in the booking confirmation. The calculator gives you the price.
Worth seeing in Berlin
Berlin is spread out and cannot be walked — the Brandenburg Gate, Museum Island and the East Side Gallery are kilometres apart each time. The Wall divided the city from 1961 until November 1989, and its longest surviving stretch, the East Side Gallery, runs over a kilometre; the paintings on it were made from the western side only after the Wall came down.
Museum Island, with its five museums, is a UNESCO site. The glass dome of the Reichstag is free to visit but only with prior registration — without it security will turn you away, and slots are usually gone days ahead.
Berlin is known for currywurst — sausage with ketchup and curry powder, sold here since 1949 and given its own museum — and for the Ampelmännchen, the hatted figure on pedestrian lights left over from East Germany and since turned into a brand. The city's techno scene was added to the UNESCO intangible heritage list in 2024; for some clubs you queue for hours and may still not get in.
The TV tower on Alexanderplatz rises 368 metres and is the tallest structure in Germany — the sphere holds a viewing deck and a revolving restaurant. February brings the Berlinale, one of the three biggest film festivals in Europe. On Sundays people head to the flea market in Mauerpark, where anyone brave enough sings karaoke in the amphitheatre.
